About Me
As a Florida native, I earned my medical degree from Nova Southeastern University before moving to Massachusetts to complete combined residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics, followed by a four-year combined fellowship in adult and pediatric endocrinology. I began my career at Baystate Medical Center and later returned to South Florida to be closer to my extended family.
I was drawn to medicine at a young age through a desire to help others and developed a particular fascination with endocrinology. I view each patient as a unique clinical puzzle and work collaboratively with them to identify effective treatments and long-term management strategies. Because many endocrine conditions are chronic, I value building lasting relationships with my patients and supporting them over time.
Prior to joining Memorial, I served as Director of Inpatient Diabetes Care at Baystate Medical Center, where I led population health initiatives to improve diabetes outcomes across the health system. I was also actively involved in graduate medical education, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and served as Associate Program Director for the combined adult and pediatric endocrinology fellowship.
